Peter's Yard Sourdough Crispbread Seeded Wholegrain


These Seeded Wholegrain crispbreads are inspired by our love of Sweden, the home of crispbread. We use simple, natural ingredients including organic flour, oat groats, buckwheat, sunflower and poppy seeds and our precious sourdough which is allowed to ferment for 16 hours before each batch is made. Baked until golden and crisp, they are the natural choice for a mild hard cheese like Single Gloucester.

Servings: Box of small sized square (51mm X 51mm) crispbread (105g). Contains about 30 crispbreads.
Ingredients: Water, rye flour, wheat flour , sourdough (rye flour, water), wholewheat flour, sunflower seeds, whole buckwheat, oat groats, honey, poppy seeds and salt.

Peter’s Yard, Peter Ljungquist is a quiet Swede who believes we are all happiest when we use our natural talents. He cares deeply about pursuing his passions and so joined together with friends including Swedish master baker, Jan Hedh, to revive traditional baking methods and recipes. Their desire to turn away from commercial yeast and return to slower, more rewarding sourdough techniques drove them to open a small bakery in a typical Skånegård deep in the Swedish countryside.

The range is now made in his artisan bakery in the UK, following the original Swedish recipe. We use natural, high quality ingredients including John’s organic Shipton Mill flour, organic fresh milk and our precious sourdough, which ferments for 16 hours before each batch is made.
